Supervise the activities of the Operations Department and motivate team to perform to the best of their abilities.
Prepare capital and operating budgets. Monitor and control the operating costs against the budget.
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual management reports as required.
Oversee all contracts for service providers and ensure that all contracts are renewed, performed and scheduled as specified in a timely manner. Regularly review performance of service providers and provide feedback to them to improve their standard of services.
Monitor all planned and emergency maintenance works and make improvements when necessary.
Carry out feasibility study, plan, prepare budget, project manager, and provide professional advice on upgrading works.
Be involved in taking over common area and building facilities from Construction.
Review and control the utilities consumption in the Mall common area.
Update and rehearse fire emergency and crisis management plans.
Update and implement standard operating procedures for the department.
Recruit and train staff to adopt standard operating procedures and supervise team to provide courteous, efficient and effective service to tenants, shoppers, and internal departments.
Ensure that the building facilities, common areas, and tenants\xe2\x80\x99 stores are well maintained at all times.
Work closely with the Police, Rela and other government agencies to ensure the safety and security of tenants and shoppers in the mall.
Carry out any other job tasks/ assignments as and when requested by Senior Management, Department Head or direct superior.
Job Requirement:
Min 5 years of managerial experience in malls or commercial buildings/ facilities management.
