Job Description


We are looking for an analytical and process-oriented person to support and drive processes within ZALORA Marketplace department. The Operation Support Intern will be responsible to liaise with, support business growth of and deepen relationships with ZALORA\'s key suppliers. Relying on superb analytical & communication skills, you will support a subset of Platform Services team on timely reporting activities and resolution of related supplier inquiries. Using data, you will help to(1) bring speed, accuracy & clarity to ZALORA\xe2\x80\x99s reporting(2) boost service quality, further fostering supplier relations, and(3) improving productivity and cost targets, with a strong focus on department KPIs.This role is based in ZALORA Malaysia (HQ), Kuala Lumpur \xe2\x80\x93 Malaysia.Responsibilities:

  • Drive day-to-day activities of the Operation Support team, ensure timely & accurate reporting to ZALORA\xe2\x80\x99s strategic brand partners
  • Coordinate with Regional data analytics teams (Business Intelligence & Data Warehouse) on data requirements, inclusive of data availability & accuracy
  • Drive improvements in sales & inventory reporting, inclusive of discrepancy investigation and reconciliations as well as all related communication
  • Work closely with internal/external stakeholders and manage project communication and coordination
  • Own continuous improvements within the Platform Services team, identify best practices and standardize it
  • Monitor and ensure performance, quality and KPIs of the Platform Services team are met
Requirements:
  • Possess a good analytical mind
  • In-depth understanding of MS Excel as well as being highly IT literate.
  • Experience with data quality, cleaning and extraction/validation tool is preferred
  • Should be a self-starter, quick learner, go-getter, proactive and should have the ability to learn and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to achieve results, attention to details and willingness to face challenges with the positive attitude
  • Good communication and people skills
