As an Operations Engineer Intern, you will report directly to our Facility Manager, providing essential support to our Northern Operations Team. This is an unparalleled opportunity to gain practical experience, expand your technical knowledge, and contribute to the safe and reliable supply of industrial gases to our customers.

What You'll Learn & Experience:

  • Actively participate in compliance reviews to learn about the latest industrial standards.
  • Understand how we ensure continuous and reliable industrial gas supply.
  • Deepen your knowledge in critical areas like Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process Control Systems, Elements Important for Safety (EIS), and Safety Protection Loops & Interlocks.
  • Gain practical, hands-on experience during the commissioning of a Nitrogen Generation Plant.
  • Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operational setup.
  • Actively participate in compliance reviews to learn about the latest industrial standards.
  • Understand how we ensure continuous and reliable industrial gas supply.
  • Deepen your knowledge in critical areas like Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process Control Systems, Elements Important for Safety (EIS), and Safety Protection Loops & Interlocks.
  • Gain practical, hands-on experience during the commissioning of a Nitrogen Generation Plant.
  • Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operational setup.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Directly participating in the commissioning process for two different nitrogen generator product lines to gain hands-on operational startup experience.
  • Assist the Facility Manager in closing out project punch list items for the new production site.
  • Create and implement operational checklists and reporting platforms for new production units, aligned with production and customer needs.
  • Develop training materials for the new production site, adhering to Air Liquide Group standards.
  • Revise Process and Maintenance P&IDs and SOPs for existing units and bulk installations to reflect current amendments.
  • Consolidate the training matrix for the Northern Operation Team's qualification process via Intelex and contribute to Group Technical related work scopes.
Are you a MATCH?
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google applications.
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an onsite plant environment.
  • Able to commit to a full-time internship for 6 months.
