Handling opening of account, issuance of Debit Card and application for online banking ie completeness of application form and other supporting documents including KYC etc.
Accountable for maintaining high data quality standard by ensuring information captured in the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s system and documentation are correct and maintained in a timely manner.
Authorizing and overriding banking transactions such as deposit, withdrawal, remittance, and any other bank\xe2\x80\x99s products launch by the bank from time to time in a timely and accurate manner according to signing authority limit.
Oversee Chief Cashier/tellers duties to ensure the operations at branch running smoothly
Schedule tellers for adequate coverage at all times.
Monitor relevant register of keys for safe and premises and ensure security documents are well kept.
Ensure SRF, RS, TAC maintenance, SI maintenance, account statement, EPF statement and etc being attended within TAT.
Ensure SVS are maintained and updated within TAT.
Ensure daily/weekly/monthly/yearly relevant report being printed, checked and filed accordingly.
Ensure all related register/records updated timely.
Alert on any suspicious and dishonest behaviour which might have an impact to the bank business or Branch management.
Monitor LCD screen display updated information ie daily rate, product campaign and promotion etc.
To perform relief duties at other branches as at when required.
To perform ad hoc task assigned by BM/ABM/ROT/Head Office.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Provide efficient customer service and demonstrate Customer Service Excellence as per STEP program.
To monitor Queue Management System (QMS) properly managed by person in-charged.
To handle walk in customers on enquiries on all products and services offered by the Bank.
To handle incoming call related to inquiries and complaints.
Provide special service and attention to elderly and handicapped customers.
Encourage, direct and assist customer to fully utilised the Self-Service Terminal (SST) and digital platform, where applicable.
To ensure the front office operation runs smoothly and always in compliance to procedure
Encourage and facilitate customer for using digital channel for account opening or other available service.
Maintain confidentiality of customers and Bank\xe2\x80\x99s information in a responsible manner
Maintain good rapport with internal, external customers, vendors, suppliers, local authorities and etc.
SALES \xe2\x80\x93 MBSB BANK PRODUCTS
Achieve sales target as assigned by the bank.
Cross selling bank products such as financing etc.
Participate and support in marketing activities organize by branch/Region office.
GENERAL
Ensure compliance with bank\xe2\x80\x99s policy, rules and regulations, compliance and procedures.
Ensure cleanliness of working areas eg counter, banking hall, SST area, back office, store room, pantry, server room, prayer room, wash room and etc.
Maintain branch proper filing of documents i.e forms, correspondences, reports etc.
Ensure customers\xe2\x80\x99 documents and information are well kept and comply with existing policies and procedures.
Perform cross selling of bank products and services to generate fee income for the Bank
Attend training and complete e-learning as required by HR/Management to ensure staff are updated with knowledge and to avoid non-compliance/breaches to policies and procedures.
Maintain good rapport/engagement with peers and superiors to harmonise the working environment.
Carry out administrative functions at branches.
To attend/ report any administrative matters such as building matters eg leaking, sewerage, broken chair/table and etc.
OTHERS
To perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when required by BM/ABM or relief or Regional Office.
