The day-to-day responsibilities for the operations executive is exciting as it covers a wide span of areas across operations. Here are some of the key areas: 1. Scheduling and coordination of the operations staff
Coordinate with the store manager in the planning the schedule for the operations team.
Ensuring accurate attendance and allowance records on the HR management system for payroll processing.
Make the necessary scheduling adjustments due to ad hoc changes.
Ensure operation staff are following the SOPs established.
2. Upkeep of the store and equipment\xe2\x80\x99s
Monitoring the condition of the store equipment such as fridge, chiller, weighing scales and coordinating the maintenance and calibration of the equipment.
Upkeep of the store through ensuring regular pest control and arranging the necessary contractor fixes to address the issues.
Managing the calibration time, date of all machineries following the standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Updating of stock and supplies tracker and reports.
3. Standby support for various store operations task when required.
In the absence of the store manager, to execute the Store Opening and Closing Procedures.
Assist with cashier opening/closing procedures and generating debit/credit reports for the day.
Supporting customers with their transactions at the cash registers or self-checkout counters.
Enabling smooth e-commerce operations and order fulfilment at the store.
Assist the resolution of customer service.
4. Training Administration
Propose training solutions by identifying training needs and areas of improvement for increased customer satisfaction and outlet sales.
Support and Coordinate training administration.
5. General Administrative matters
Responsible for the petty cash in the store.
Monitoring the usage and stock level of office supplies and non-trade items within the store, placing orders when required.
6. Promotion execution
Ensure promotion pricings are reflected in the store and cascaded to the various categories.
