We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, and hands-on
Operations Executive
to support the Operations Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our retail outlets. This role involves frequent travel to outlets, ensuring smooth store performance, and maintaining compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Store & Outlet Operations
Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Conduct regular outlet inspections, prepare findings reports, and follow up on action plans.
Liaise with mall management on permits, festive closures, and outlet maintenance matters.
Assist outlets with premise repairs, pest control, and licensing applications or renewals.
Monitor and follow up on new outlet setups, renovations, openings, and permanent closures.
Ensure all outlet equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
Coordinate with internal departments to resolve operational issues promptly.
Inventory Management
Maintain optimal stock levels and monitor inventory movements.
Analyze stock performance to forecast needs and identify fast- or slow-moving items.
Coordinate with relevant teams for timely and accurate replenishment.
Manpower & Security
Review and monitor outlet manpower requirements to ensure sufficient and efficient staffing.
Ensure effective implementation of security measures such as CCTV, alarm systems, and security personnel.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and health & safety standards.
Conduct audits and work with relevant departments to address non-compliance or maintenance issues.
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on outlet performance, maintenance, and operational activities.
Analyze data and present insights or recommendations to management.
Ad-Hoc Tasks
Support urgent duties, ad-hoc assignments, and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in retail or operational roles
(fresh graduates with strong initiative are also encouraged to apply).
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to converse and write in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin -- required due to the need to liaise with China suppliers.* Must possess own transport and be willing to travel locally and outstation when required.
Able to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Understanding of retail operations, including inventory, manpower, and maintenance management.
