Job Description

To assist the Resort Manager in the day-to-day operations, should have a strong background of Room division with good understanding especially in the following areas:

  • Front Office
  • Customer Service
  • Housekeeping
  • Engineering
  • Security
  • Landscape
The position will require for the candidate to be able to stand in for the Resort Manager in his absence. Having good relationship with all departments, ensuring the resorts cleanliness, and is well maintained at all times. Able to handle human resource issues among the employees and ensuring staff welfare is taken care off. Working with all division heads in ensuring and in achieving guest satisfaction and experience at the resort.
Able to source out suppliers for various section, scheduling of staff and overseeing other section duty roaster in ensuring is within the labour law practice, good understanding of the Malaysian labour law and it practices in the hospitality industry.
Ensuring that the resort\xe2\x80\x99s expense is well within budget and all expenses are under control. Following through on set standard operating procedures with training and measuring outcome on the designed standards.
Minimum years of experience: 3 to 4 years in the similar position or currently a senior manager
Education: diploma in Hospitality Management, with good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ensure resort premises are clean, tidy, and ambient enough to receive and attend to guests needs
  • Monitor the coordination between the different parts of a resort to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Conduct assessments to review customer satisfaction and service recovery process
  • Establish communication channels to interact with customers in order to obtain their feedback and assist with the resolution of problems
  • Organize training programs to enhance the job skills and performance of resort personnel
  • Monitor the purchase requisitions of each hotel department
  • Inspect resort stores to check available stock and determine the need for stocking
  • Hire contractors and deal with vendors to ensure provision of high-quality products and services
  • Schedule work shifts and tasks to resort staff according to their specialty
  • Collect payments and record all expenditure and generated revenue
  • Contact clients to schedule and plan the details of an event or conference
  • Good understanding and hands on application on the use of resorts Property Management System and Point of Sales.
  • Good understanding of room rates and packages offered and its breakdown.
Salary Range 5,000 to 6,500 depending on experience Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months Salary: RM5,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month Benefits:
