Reports to: Owner/CEO and Company Director Supervises: Outlet Managers and Supervisors Liaises with: Head Chef (BOH) and Senior Management team Purpose of post: To be independently and solely responsible for overseeing the delivery of efficient, smooth operations and KPIs, across our 3 outlets, with particular responsibility for enforcing company SOPs and management information reporting, to ensure that all business objectives, financial targets, product/service quality and customer expectations are met. To be hands-on, as and when required, and assist with Service Operations at weekends. To lead our Outlet Heads team and to work with our Head Chef, to ensure that Business KPIs are achieved, with consistent food and service delivery excellence and smooth service operations, across all outlets. You are responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food, drink and customer service are consistently delivered and that teams are organised and ready for service, and communicate effectively with one another. You MUST be able to effectively manage, review and improve BOTH BOH operations (i.e. ordering, stock control, waste management, completing daily SOPs) and FOH operations (i.e. customer service and dining experience, sales process, upselling, outlet maintenance and cleanliness). Working to set KPIs, you must provide effective leadership, key decision making and strong line management across the entire business, whilst promoting a positive and productive work culture, built around our company\'s values and embracing effective teamwork and communication. You should provide mentoring support and job guidance to the Outlet Heads team and provide weekly/monthly performance reports to the Owner/CEO. Note: Only serious, experienced and capable candidates should apply. This is a high-pressure job, with measurable performance KPIs and requires both a strategic and hands-on approach. You will be solely responsible and accountable for business performance, outcomes and the smooth running or our outlet operations. There will be a 6-month probation period for this role. Essential list of duties and responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Overseeing and managing the FOH/BOH operations of our outlets to ensure that Company Objectives and Business KPIs are achieved \xc2\xb7 Setting high standards and enabling outlet teams to meet these quality expectations \xc2\xb7 Leading by example, through your own attendance, attitude and performance - being very hands-on in communications with teams and through supporting outlet service operations, at weekends \xc2\xb7 Ensuring the disciplined and strict completion of company SOPs, by staff across the outlets, to include reminding staff, chasing up late SOPs and finding solutions to get missing information and ensure effective "checks and balances" take place for all operational areas on a daily basis \xc2\xb7 Reviewing SOPs and improve operational efficiency and work flow \xc2\xb7 Encouraging and reinforce clear, frequent and effective communications across the outlets, to enable collaborative working and ensure actions are completed \xc2\xb7 Leading the team of outlet managers/supervisors towards effective collaboration and attainment of KPIs and goals \xc2\xb7 Ensuring strict compliance with company policies and procedures \xc2\xb7 Providing solutions that address staff performance, attitude, behaviour, attendance and communication issues, in a timely and effective manner \xc2\xb7 Developing an Operations Strategy for the business, with strategies to improve \xc2\xb7 Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports for owner, for outlet operational performance, customer service quality, food quality, food waste management and staff management \xc2\xb7 Overseeing the recruitment, training, management and communication with staff, with assistance from HR & Admin Manager \xc2\xb7 Ensuring our outlets are properly functioning, always maintained and clean \xc2\xb7 Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety \xc2\xb7 Overseeing effective stock levels and ordering supplies \xc2\xb7 Enforcing strict cash handling and management at outlets \xc2\xb7 Closely monitors outlet operations and staff performance, and takes corrective action as necessary, to ensure that outlet budget goals are achieved \xc2\xb7 Assures that effective induction, training and development (including STARS programme) for staff are planned and implemented \xc2\xb7 Inspects outlets to ensure that all safety, sanitation, preventive maintenance and other standards are consistently met \xc2\xb7 Manage the long-term staffing needs of outlet staff, to meet business requirements \xc2\xb7 Monitor and enforce completion of operational SOP processes and documentation by outlet teams \xc2\xb7 Review operational SOPs, with a view to implementing improvements \xc2\xb7 Work effectively with suppliers to minimise costs and source better ingredients \xc2\xb7 Behave professionally, respectfully and with discipline, as set out in the Employee Handbook \xc2\xb7 Complete additional tasks, duties and work schedules, as deemed necessary by GM/CEO, on time and to high standards \xc2\xb7 Ensure that all legal requirements for outlets are consistently adhered to (i.e. business licence, music licence, Bomba fire safety certification, staffing permits etc) \xc2\xb7 Respond to and address staff and customer complaints and advise CEO about appropriate corrective actions taken \xc2\xb7 Maintains appearance, preservation and cleanliness of all food and beverage equipment, kitchen areas, dining area, counters and restaurant facilities \xc2\xb7 Responsible for the physical/aesthetic maintenance of the restaurant and resolving any maintenance issues, with authorisation on budget from CEO \xc2\xb7 Ensures all safety and security systems and procedures are followed to ensure health and safety of employees and customers \xc2\xb7 Ensures established standards of food safety and sanitation are maintained (i.e. via good food storage, handling, preparation and cooking) \xc2\xb7 Checks and monitors personal hygiene of staff \xc2\xb7 Monitors employee attendance, attitude, performance and dress-code, according to policies and procedures, taking corrective action to resolve any issues \xc2\xb7 Responsible for the proper accounting and reconciliation of the point of sale systems \xc2\xb7 Produces analysis reports for owner on outlet operations and business performance \xc2\xb7 Complete additional tasks, duties and work schedules, as deemed necessary by Operations Manager, on time and to high standards Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month Education:
