To lead, manage, and oversee the operations of the personal loan division, specifically for the government sector clientele. The role is responsible for ensuring smooth loan processing, compliance with regulations, operational efficiency, and high-quality customer service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Leadership
Develop and implement operational strategies for personal loan products targeted at government employees/agencies.
Ensure alignment of operational activities with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Lead, mentor, and manage the operations team to deliver service excellence and meet business objectives.
Loan Processing & Operations
Oversee end-to-end personal loan processing, including application, verification, approval, disbursement, and repayment monitoring.
Ensure adherence to credit policies, risk assessment guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support customer acquisition and loan portfolio growth.
Compliance & Risk Management
Monitor compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) guidelines, KPKT (if applicable), and internal audit requirements.
Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks within the loan processing cycle.
Ensure proper documentation, confidentiality, and data security.
Government Agency Liaison
Build and maintain strong working relationships with relevant government agencies and departments for loan deduction arrangements and approvals.
Ensure timely submission and reconciliation of payroll deduction files with agencies (e.g., ANGKASA, AG's Department, government-linked bodies).
Act as the primary contact point for agency-related operational matters.
Performance & Reporting
Track and analyze operational KPIs (turnaround time, approval rates, delinquency levels, NPL ratios).
Prepare operational performance reports for senior management and regulatory submissions.
Continuously review and improve processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or related field. Master's degree is an advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 8-10 years (Head) / 5 years (Executive) in loan operations, with at least 3 years handling personal loans for government sector employees and banking organization.
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong knowledge of personal loan products, credit policies, and government agency payroll deduction mechanisms.
Familiarity with financial regulations, compliance, and risk management practices.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, especially in dealing with government officers/agencies.
Proficiency in MS Office and loan management systems.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
