The construction has begun in May 2021 and first series of production to commence in 2023. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch\xe2\x80\x99s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors. PgP5 will primarily focus on the final testing of components manufactured at Bosch Automotive Electronics\xe2\x80\x99 fab in Dresden, Germany. The plant will also house R&D and training facilities.Job overview:
With the growing organization a bracket around the 3 shifts is required. Currently the value stream manager is leading the shift
leaders amongst many other tasks. Due to the growing organization the requirement is having a function acting as a bridging
function between the engineering - and the production area. Proper transfer of information/know how must be ensured as well as
leading the increasing amount of direct employees (blue collar).:
- Lead the shift leaders and the production employees on shift
- Align the most important tasks for upcoming shifts with the shift leader and ensure that all three shifts are informed accordingly
- Track the main production KPIs and ensure that the right priorities are set within the shift to meet the KPIs
- Be the bridge between the department head/value stream leader and the production employees
- Take care of attendance topics and planning (annual leave, sick leaves and replacements, \xe2\x80\xa6)
- Develop the shift organization together with the value stream manager and the engineering team leads
- Exchange with line control on production prioritization and ensure that the priorities from line control are followed
- Exchange with the engineering team leads on technical requirements in the lines and ensure that shift technicians are supporting on engineering/continuous improvement tasks and technical challenges with the machines
- Learn to know the shift employees and perform the goal and performance dialogues with the shift employees
- Participate/Take over the interviews for hirings of shift employees
- Support on all new production/maintenance topics
- Contribute with improvement ideas in the shift area and follow up the implementation. Escalate to value stream manager before status of topics becomes critical
- Support colleagues on shift on their daily topics to ensure maximum focus on output on their side
- Set up and track training plan and ensure that no trainings inside shopfloor will be expired
- Study the capacity on the shopfloor and trigger changes if employees are required to work in different areas/lines to ensure overall output
- Strongly support the BPS (Bosch Production System) and become a role model in the CIP (Continuous improvement Project) methodology
- Execute any other related duties assigned by immediate superior from time to timeQualifications- Minimum 5 years to 10 years working experience in the semiconductor industry, preferable at least 5 years of leadership experience in the manufacturing environment
- At least a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical or relevant with semiconductor machine maintenance exposure
- Candidates must be proactive in discussion with ability to recommend & propose solutions, directly communicate with the value stream manager and bring up topics in with an open mindset
- Possess basic mechanical, electrical and electronical skills
- Possess strong communication skills and able to transfer technical knowledge with various production team members
- Able to organize project, lead the team to meet the required project plans and schedules that integrate resources, tasks
and timelines
- Able to perform trouble shootings in the semi environment
- Strong sense for discipline and ability to demand/enforce it from the subordinates
- Ability in using logic and reasoning & accurate to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions,
conclusions, or approaches on problems & proposal on cost reduction and improvement measures
- Ability to solve problem using Systematic Problem-Solving methodology e.g., Poka Yoke concept, 5xWhy, 8D and
common production & quality methods
- Ability to lead technical discussion together with equipment supplier and engineering team
- Ability to instruct operators on how to fulfil their tasks to achieve the necessary result
- Open for business trip and able to travel to China and Germany for train
