1. Operate and monitor paper manufacturing machinery, equipment, or production lines according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
2. Assist in the setup, adjustment, and changeover of machines for different production runs.
3. Ensure smooth operation of production by feeding raw materials (e.g., pulp, chemicals, recycled paper) and removing finished products.
4. Carry out routine inspections to detect machine faults, abnormalities, or product defects.
5. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work area, including equipment and tools, in compliance with 5S/housekeeping practices.
6. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs.
7. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure safe working conditions.
8. Record production data, such as quantities produced, downtime, and machine performance, into log sheets or reporting systems.
9. Support quality control by ensuring products meet company standards and specifications.
10. Work closely with supervisors, technicians, and quality inspectors to resolve production issues.
