Objectives of the Position
Operate the Waste Water Treatment Plant as per SOP & Regulation.Main Tasks1. To operate and monitor the overall operation of the Waste Water Treatment Plant as in accordance with work instructions, ISO standard and statutory requirements.2. To carry out routine housekeeping of the Waste Water Treatment Plant.3. Coordinate the receiving, storing and issuing of all the Waste Water Treatment Plant direct and indirect technical materials4. To ensure continuous good control and active condition of biological slurry by desludging and monitoring of MLSS.5. To ensure biological mass is in active condition via consistent provision of urea, re-supplying and checking the bacteria populations.6. To prepare polymer solution daily as per standard requirement and instructions.7. To operate Multi Disc Screw/ Filter press every shift in order to ensure consistent treated water quality.8. To ensure proper packaging, handling, storage and transportation of WWT sludge as per statutory requirement.9. To ensure proper packaging, handling, storage and transportation of schedule waste from other plants via Toxicol to Kualiti Alam or other Waste Collector.10. To update and monitor the stocks inventory of raw materials use in WWTP.11. To record and report every shift on condition WWT Plant in Shift Logging.12. To record, monitor and report the daily test result and waste water generation in the WWT daily log sheet.13. To monitor and analyse the pH conditions of the incoming waste water every hourly.14. To trouble shoot problems arises in the WWTP and inform Supervisor and Manager, UGF when necessary.15. To monitor and report the final water discharge is within the specification of Standard B Environmental (Sewage and Industrial Effluent) and Ph between, 5.5 to 9.0.16. To follow procedures, work instructions and guidelines for operating the Waste Water Treatment Plant as per required documentation.17. To monitor and implement the pollution control system that is currently in place.Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

• Education: Min Diploma
• Working Experience: 1 - 2 years

Job Characterization

• Knowledge in pH measurement and reading of process flow.
• Understand the process of chemical and biological treatment
• Experienced with Waste Water operation and able to drive forklift.
