Work closely with ophthalmologists, nurses, and other clinic staff to ensure the best care for patients.
Identify and diagnose refractive errors and other visual abnormalities.
Detect and manage conditions eye diseases.
Recommend treatment options for eye infections, dryness, or other related issues.
Educate patients on proper eye care, vision health, and preventive practices.
Refer patients to ophthalmologists or other specialists for conditions requiring medical or surgical treatment.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories, prescriptions, and any diagnoses or treatments.
