Collaborate closely with ophthalmologists, nurses, and clinic personnel to provide optimal patient care.
Examine and determine refractive errors as well as other vision irregularities.
Identify and manage various eye conditions and diseases.
Suggest appropriate treatments for eye infections, dryness, and other ocular issues.
Advise patients on correct eye care routines, vision maintenance, and preventive measures.
Direct patients to ophthalmologists or relevant specialists for further medical or surgical management when necessary.
Keep detailed and accurate patient documentation, including medical history, prescriptions, diagnoses, and treatments provided.
