Your main responsibility will be to utilise your skills in performance tuning, capacity management, troubleshooting, installation and configuration, database recovery, and ensuring database integrity and securityKeywords: DBA, Oracle DBA, Oracle, MS SQL, Database Administrator, Troubleshooting, Performance Tuning, Capacity Management, Database Recovery, SecurityAs an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA), you will be responsible for utilizing your skills in performance tuning, capacity management, troubleshooting, installation and configuration, database recovery, and ensuring database integrity and security. You will play a crucial role in troubleshooting errors, performing necessary patches, analyzing production database storage data, developing scripts for automation, implementing disaster recovery models, monitoring physical storage of databases, and building Oracle Engineered Systems.What you\'ll do:

• Troubleshoot errors and warning messages in database logs and OEM alerts on a daily basis
• Perform required database patches to maintain database security, stability, and availability
• Analyze production database storage data, chart growth pattern, and provide monthly capacity report on database growth
• Develop and enhance scripts for daily repetitive tasks to automate service operations
• Implement a robust disaster recovery model to meet defined RPO and RTO
• Analyze database statistics and performance metrics to prevent performance degradation
• Monitor and add physical storage to databases to prevent system outages
• Build and maintain Oracle Engineered Systems, including Exadata Storage Cell, InfiniBand Switch, ZDLRA catalogue, and HyperConverged Infrastructure for MS SQL databases

What you bring:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum six years\' experience in database maintenance and administration of Oracle Database
• Experience in MS SQL is a plus
• Deep technical knowledge of various database and operating system architecture with strong troubleshooting skills
• Good interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships
• Oracle/MSSQL Certified Professional is preferred
