Linux Server administration for Google-BMS and CSO on-premise Oracle DB platform 24/7 including On-Call support activities of Linux servers hosting Oracle DBs on Google-BMS and CSO platform TASK LIST FOR THE ROLE Installation, administration, configuration and Integration of Oracle Linux (RHEL) Systems on KVM hypervisor (hosts) Technical support, planning and executing of Linux OS patching according to the defined standard procedures. Implementing of Oracle Linux (RHEL) software patching including regular security patching and hardening. Proactive incident and problem management in response to system monitoring and professional analysis of the Linux system including network and storage components. Executing needed Linux systems support activities using Google Cloud administration Console (storage integration and raising support tickets with Google) if needed. maintaining, executing of Unix-Shell, python and Ansible scripts Installation, administration, configuration of Oracle database sw on the Linux systems using the Ansible deployment scripts... Professional Skills1 (technical, methodology and business): - sufficient experience supporting Unix (Oracle linux) IT systems and related network infrastructure - expert knowledge in Unix LDAP and kerberisation - Python and shell scripting - expert knowledge in authorisation and access management in Unix (Oracle linux) - sufficient knowledge in Linux packaging and Ansible playbook deployment - excellent communication skills - Google Cloud Console knowledge is preferred or a plus
