JR37758 ORDER FULFILLMENT ANALYST

Summary :

As an Order Fulfillment Analyst at Micron, you will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling and shipment of customer orders. You will analyze shipping requirements and rules against available inventories to ensure the appropriate products are delivered while striving to meet promise dates & Order Fulfillment internal metrics. You will coordinate repositioning of products to the appropriate distribution points, respond to delinquent or unconfirmed orders, and investigate delivery performance issues. You may work directly with internal customers to provide product samples and can expect to coordinate with the Sales, Planning, and Quality Assurance departments in scheduling the delivery of targeted or at risk products and identifying alternative product delivery options. Additionally, you will be required to monitor the scheduling and order management systems to identify problems, notify the affected departments or resources, and ensure resolution is obtained. In this role, you can expect to work with team members and customers around the world dealing with varying languages, cultures, and geographies. You will be assigned with Order Fulfillment related projects.

Responsibilities and Tasks :

  • Schedule and Ship Orders
  • Review customer shipping requirements, comparing customer requirements against inventory to enable shipment where discrepancies exist.
  • Modify scheduled ship date and plant based on changes in product availability.
  • Review Finished Goods inventory to enable the immediate shipment of prioritized orders.
  • Identify opportunities for delivery improvements and take appropriate action, e.g. delinquent orders.
  • Schedule sample orders in support of our customer\xe2\x80\x99s qualification needs
  • Coordinate changes to product allocations to support demand
  • Adjust shipping rules based on business rules and guidelines
  • Highlight packaging discrepancies and coordinate repackaging efforts between Sales and Finished Goods
  • Review orders in violation of Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) policy against Finished
  • Goods inventory to meet business needs
  • Coordinate Inter-company Stocking Orders
  • Identify situations that require material to be moved from one location to another due to business or customer requirements
  • Respond to requests from Manufacturing or Finished Goods to reposition material
  • Enter the stocking orders into SAP Respond to Requests for Backlog Improvement
  • Work to improve delivery performance to meet corporate service levels and metrics
  • Enter manual delivery schedules for orders that are not systematically scheduled
  • Provide impact analysis for requests to prioritize orders ahead of other commitments Coordinate Shipping of Risk or Targeted Inventory
  • Ensure risk inventory shipping guidelines are enforced
  • Modify order shipping restrictions to utilize risk inventory where approved
  • Highlight potential risk inventory as encountered
  • Monitor Scheduling and Ordering Management Systems
  • Identify and analyze data between systems for potential problems
  • -Notify or alert appropriate resources if potential problem is identified
  • Ensure problems are brought to resolution.
  • Communicate to stakeholders the impact and duration of problems.
  • Identify, develop and improve new & existing processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement programs internally and externally.
  • Assign & Manage Order Fulfillment related projects.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in any field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
Requirements :
  • Strong SAP background
  • Details oriented.
  • Perform task with minimum guidance and work independently.
  • Comfortable solving new problems in a fast-paced environment.
