Job Description


Collaborate closely with Project and Application Engineers to oversee the complete order execution process, which includes managing equipment, consumable parts, manpower services, contract inventory, and goods deliverables. Review, strategize, lead, and execute all customer Purchase Orders or Contracts. Ensure timely booking of orders and the procurement of necessary materials from third-party suppliers, adhering to the stipulations in the Purchase Order or Contract. Guarantee that the order execution complies with customer requirements as outlined in the Purchase Order or Contract. Continuously monitor and manage the overall progress, ensuring the timely delivery or fulfillment of goods. Develop and adhere to a comprehensive plan, schedule, and regular progress updates with various third parties such as factories, vendors, sub-vendors, and contractors to maintain a smooth order execution process. Collaborate with your immediate supervisor in the event of expected delays or setbacks. Enhance and nurture customer and third-party relationships through active video and verbal communication. Effectively manage and control overall purchasing and expenditure costs in alignment with guidelines and Group Directives. When necessary, initiate renegotiations of terms with third parties. Evaluate suppliers, products, and services, negotiate contracts, and ensure that approved purchases are both cost-efficient and of high quality for operating expenses. Ensure that all Sales and Purchase Orders receive the appropriate approvals from the Finance department and management. Maintain the Gross Margin, as calculated at the time of order receipt, throughout the execution process and seek opportunities to enhance it. Take the lead in the Costing Sheet, prepare weekly and monthly Order Intake reports, monthly Order backlog reports, and track outstanding order status. Supervise the Shipping Department, including coordinating and negotiating with forwarding agents, freight agents, and shipping lines to optimize shipping routes, costs, and schedules. Maintain communication with Customs Malaysia and the MITI department regarding any new regulatory changes. Provide oversight to the Warehouse Assistant Manager, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Fulfill additional tasks as assigned by your immediate superior in accordance with the organizations requirements. Benefits Possess a degree in Engineering or Business. Prior work experience in the pump or valve industry is advantageous. Proficiency in using SAP B1 software. Prior knowledge of shipping INCOTERMS. Capable of working with minimal supervision. Exhibit strong teamwork skills, adaptability, and the ability to adjust to changing priorities and directions. Own transportation and willingness to travel locally and internationally as needed.
