We are a successful and growing British seafood restaurant brand with 3 outlets across the Klang Valley. Famous for our British-style Fish & Chips, we pride ourselves on serving high-quality, freshly prepared food in a professional and friendly environment.

We are now looking for an experienced and passionate

Outlet Chef

to lead one of our outlet kitchens. This is a

hands-on leadership role

-- you will manage the kitchen team, oversee food quality, and ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining high standards of consistency, hygiene, and performance.

You will also support our

Central Kitchen

with production, planning, and other related tasks when required.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and manage all daily kitchen operations and food production. Cook and oversee preparation and plating to ensure quality and consistency. Train, develop, and motivate kitchen staff to perform effectively. Manage ordering, stock control, inventory, and cost efficiency. Monitor food waste and implement cost-control measures. Ensure food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness meet company and regulatory standards. Complete all BOH paperwork, including checklists, waste logs, and stock reports. Support Central Kitchen production and participate in menu or recipe development. Build and maintain a positive, disciplined, and professional kitchen culture.

Requirements



Minimum

2 years' experience

leading a kitchen team (restaurant or hotel background preferred). Strong

hands-on cooking ability

, especially in Western or seafood cuisine. Excellent

leadership, organisation, and people management

skills. Good understanding of kitchen operations, SOPs, and cost control. Knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and HACCP principles. Capable of multitasking and working efficiently under pressure. Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu. Culinary diploma or professional certification preferred. Able to work

6 days per week (Monday off)

, including weekends and public holidays. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) is an advantage. Punctual, responsible, and able to start immediately. Must be a

local Malaysian citizen

Pay: RM4,200.00 - RM4,700.00 per month
