We are now hiring a

Outlet Head Chef & Central Kitchen

to take on a

dual leadership role

-- managing both an outlet kitchen during service and overseeing Central Kitchen production during the day. This position is ideal for an experienced chef who is hands-on, highly organised, and ready to take on bigger responsibilities.

Role Overview



In this role, you will:

Oversee daily

Central Kitchen production

in the morning, ensuring smooth preparation, stock management, and supply to all outlets. Lead your assigned

outlet kitchen

in the afternoon/evening, ensuring top-quality cooking, plating, and service standards. Manage kitchen teams across both areas, ensuring consistent performance, discipline, and training. Be actively involved in

hands-on cooking

, production, and supervision.

Key Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate Central Kitchen production, inventory, and distribution to outlets. Oversee outlet kitchen operations, including service, quality, hygiene, and staff performance. Cook and supervise during service to maintain food consistency and speed. Train, coach, and develop BOH staff at both Central Kitchen and outlet level. Manage food costing, stock control, and waste reduction across both operations. Ensure all kitchen SOPs, hygiene, and safety practices are strictly followed. Prepare daily and weekly kitchen reports for management (production, waste, stock, staff). Support menu planning, recipe improvements, and production efficiency.

Requirements



Minimum

5 years' experience

in kitchen leadership (restaurant, hotel, or catering). Strong

hands-on cooking and production management skills

. Proven experience leading multiple teams or operations. Knowledge of food production systems, stock control, and recipe standardisation. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Able to work

longer hours

(CK mornings + outlet evenings) with

C

entral Kitchen. Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu. Knowledge of HACCP, food hygiene, and kitchen safety standards. Positive, disciplined, and capable of training and motivating teams. Culinary diploma or certification preferred. Must be a

local Malaysian

and able to start immediately.

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
