Position: Account Payable lead

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 830AM-530PM

Remuneration: Subject to experience.

Job scope

• Responsible for all payable transactions
• Creates and maintains a high-performance environment characterized by positive leadership and a strong team orientation
• Manage month-end accounts payable close processes to ensure tasks are completed timely and in accordance with corporate time frames.
• Responsible for preparation of monthly expenses forecast, month end bank balance for management review and generate ad hoc requests as required.
• Initiates contact with various programs and units within the agency, vendors, state agencies, and district offices regarding payments and develops a solution for accounts payable discrepancies
• Involve in P2P projects on process re-designing and improvements within the global hub of finance services and cross functionally.
• Maintenance and publication of Key Performance Indicators and ensure service delivery meets expected Key Performance Indicators.
• Responsible for P2P training and develop desk procedures and SOP as necessary.
• Maintains vendor file information

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting with a minimum of five years of Accounts Payable experience and at least two years in a managerial capacity.

• Prior experience in MNC environment and dealing with global companies is preferred.

• Working experience within a SSC/GBS model is an added advantage.

• Demonstrated proficiency in full-cycle Accounts Payable operations

• Experience and use of ERP software (NetSuite) and familiarity with Procurement & AP systems and interfaces is preferred.
