Dare to make an impact YOUR ROLE Responsible for the development and optimisation of packaging for new and existing products. Apply creative mindset and scientific methodology to design and develop packaging solution that meet the product development brief. Conduct validation of packaging design and qualification trials for implementation, provide technical input for packaging artworks. Identify, evaluate, and propose sustainable materials and process, cost-improvement opportunity, and complexity reduction initiatives. Maintain and optimise procedures for products rework and co-packing, assist with product system set-up and packaging data for Point-of-Sale activities. Responsible for the maintenance of packaging specification databases, including conducting measurements and statistical analysis, performance testing, and functional evaluation, and by collaborating with other R&D teams as well as external supply partners. Responsible for generating, reviewing, and safe-keeping of technical IP, including but not limited to process and trial documentation, design drawings and supplier\'s specification. YOUR SKILLS Degree(s) in Packaging/Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or comparable degree. Previous experience in lab environment, and minimum 2 years\' experience in any packaging field is highly regarded. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and eagerness to learn is a must. Self-motivated, creative, and an open-minded team-player with the ability to work independently. Able to critically analyse situations and provide insightful comments and improvements. Able to manage workload, meet project deadlines and perform tasks in an organized manner. Comfortable operating electromechanical lab equipment, and experience with larger scale equipment is a bonus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop), statistical analysis software, and additional experience with 2D/3D CAD design software will be desirable bonus.
