Job Summary:

a) Staff Nurse PACU performs pre operative assessment patient during passing over from ward and ICU. Recover patient post operatively.

b) Assist Manager in floor stock medication, in charge on Emergency trolly and operation issue.

A. Department: PACU Unit

1. Receive and check all patient for procedure in OT and ensure all document available e.g Consent for procedure and Anaesthesia consent. Refer to OT list.

2. Ensure all clinical documentation updated these includes OT and PACU KPI.

3. Assist Manager and Involved in compiling statistic for OT and PACU.

4. Ensure OT/PACU unit census and KPI updated accurately before 5th of each month.

5. Investigate and find out the root cause for all incidents happened in the unit. Rectify and plan for better solution/processes in order same incident do not reoccur.

6. Ensure all PACU consumables available at all times.

7. Ensure no pilferage of medication and consumables usage.

8. Work closely with Pharmacy department to ensure all medication par level is sufficient. Manage the stock well and ensure no negative variances during stock take.

9. Work closely with all GA Nurse and OT Technician to ensure all medication charged correctly.

10. Review Par level on medication and consumables at least 3 monthlies if needed to ensure enough supply at all times.

11. Assist in Booking and Coordination of cases if needed and ensure all booking documented well

12. Ensure all consumables charges charge before bill close.

13. Ensure Emergency Trolley being checked. Checked daily on the defibrillator and drugs expiry

14. Involved in stock checking according to finance schedule.

15. Work closely with Manager to ensure enough equipment in PACU

16. Ensure all equipment service according to PPM schedule.

17. Assist immediate superior on expansion project including budget requirements, space, equipment, supplies, staffing and projected volume.

Assist Manager in new staff orientation and assist in guidance of new staff.

Requirement:

1- Diploma / Bachelor in Nursing
2- Valid LJM Certificate
3- Valid APC & Valid RON

4- Experience in PACU / OT

Working hours:

Monday - Friday
7:30 AM - 5 PM

8:30 AM - 6 PM

9:30 AM- 7 PM
Saturday & Sunday oncall ( if work, then got replacement rest day in weekdays)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
