In this role, you will be instrumental in providing consultancy services to clients on matters related to trademarks, patents, industrial designs, and copyrights. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and possesses strong organizational and communication skills.Job Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Law, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in Intellectual Property is a plus.
• Able to speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Previous experience in an intellectual property or law firm, with a focus on patents and trademarks.
• Fresh graduate are welcome to apply.
• Strong knowledge of patent and trademark laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Familiarity with IP databases, search tools, and docketing systems.
• Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in IP management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• High integrity and confidentiality.

• Execute IP submission cases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct thorough patent and trademark searches, analyzing results to assess patentability or registrability.
• Prepare, draft, and file patent applications, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with inventors, agents, and clients for timely preparation, filing, and prosecution of patent applications.
• Assist in reviewing and filing trademark applications and responding to office actions.

Legal Drafting and Due Diligence

• Work with attorneys to draft and negotiate intellectual property agreements, including licenses, confidentiality agreements, and assignments.
• Conduct due diligence and analysis of intellectual property portfolios for acquisitions or licensing deals.
• Support attorneys in intellectual property litigation by conducting legal research and preparing documents.

IP Consulting

• Assist in developing intellectual property strategies and provide strategic advice to clients to enhance their IP protection and value.

Client IP Record Monitoring

• Monitor deadlines, maintain records, and coordinate with clients for the maintenance and renewal of intellectual property assets.

Staying Updated on IP Developments

• Keep abreast of changes in intellectual property laws, regulations, and best practices, offering recommendations to clients and attorneys.

Market Awareness and Education

• Create articles to educate the market on the importance of IP and keep clients informed of the latest IP trends.

Compensation:

• Salary: RM2,500 - RM4,000 monthly, based on skills, experience, and potential contributions.
