To serve as the primary point of contact between parents and the school, ensuring effective communication, smooth coordination, and a welcoming school environment that reflects the school's values and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Front Office & Communication
Greet and assist parents, visitors, and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries promptly.
Maintain a positive image of the school through effective communication and presentation.
2. Parent Engagement & Support
Respond to parent concerns, feedback, and queries efficiently and empathetically.
Schedule and coordinate parent meetings with teachers or the Principal when necessary.
Support the organization of parent-teacher meetings, school events, and orientations.
3. Administrative Support
Maintain accurate records of parent communication, student files, and attendance where relevant.
Support the admission process by guiding parents through registration and documentation.
Assist in preparing circulars, announcements, and updates for parents.
4. Coordination & Liaison
Act as a communication bridge between parents, teachers, and school leadership.
Coordinate logistics for school events, open days, and special visits.
Support the Principal and academic team in administrative tasks as needed.
5. Professional Conduct
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Ensure the reception and office areas are organized and welcoming.
Uphold the school's mission, vision, and standards of communication.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Degree in Administration, Communication, or related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English essential; BM or Mandarin an advantage).
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain calm under pressure.
