Job Description

A retail assistant for a bakery ingredient shop in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, is a full-time position that involves assisting customers, managing inventory, and maintaining the shop's cleanliness. The role often includes tasks like cashier duties, product presentation, and potential overtime work. Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Assisting customers with their needs, providing product information, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Retail Sales:

Selling bakery ingredients and other related products, achieving sales goals, and contributing to promotional activities.

Inventory Management:

Receiving and checking stock, ensuring proper storage and display of products, and managing inventory levels.

Shop Maintenance:

Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the shop, including arranging products, cleaning surfaces, and tidying up.

Cashier Duties:

Operating the cash register, handling payments, and providing accurate receipts.
Requirements:

Minimum Education:

SPM or equivalent, with a preference for STM/STPM.

Language Skills:

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Experience:

Previous retail experience is preferred, but fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Skills:

Customer service, communication, product knowledge, inventory management, and basic computer skills.

Personality:

Responsible, detail-oriented, friendly, and a good team player.

Pay: From RM70.00 per day
