We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic barista to join our team and help us bring these flavors to life for our customers.

Position Overview:

As a Barista at Hisbrew Coffee Co., you will be the face of our coffee experience, responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and sharing your passion for coffee with our community. You will work closely with our roasting team to understand the unique profiles of our beans and deliver an exceptional coffee experience to every customer.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, pour-over, cold brew, and specialty beverages, following our brewing standards and recipes.

- Maintain a deep understanding of our coffee offerings, including flavor profiles, origins, and roast levels, and effectively communicate this knowledge to customers.

- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers to understand their preferences and make personalized recommendations.

- Collaborate with the roasting team to stay informed about new coffees, roasts, and brewing techniques.

- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and work areas.

- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking coffee beans, milk, and other supplies.

- Educate customers about our coffee philosophy and brewing methods through tastings, workshops, and events.

- Continuously strive to improve brewing skills and stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a barista in a specialty coffee shop or similar environment.

- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and manual brewing devices.

- Passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about the coffee roasting process and origin flavors.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.

- Attention to detail and commitment to quality in every cup.

- Basic understanding of inventory management and ordering processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
