Job Summary:

UCSI Schools is seeking a passionate and skilled

Part-Time Female Swimming Teacher

to join our team at the

Springhill Campus

. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality swimming instruction to

primary and secondary students

, promoting water safety, swimming proficiency, and a love for aquatic activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct engaging

swimming lessons

for students of varying skill levels across both primary and secondary levels. Teach fundamental and advanced swimming techniques, ensuring

student safety and proper form

at all times. Create and implement lesson plans in line with curriculum goals and

recognized swimming instruction standards

. Evaluate student progress and provide

constructive feedback and support

to help each student improve. Maintain a

safe and inclusive

environment for all learners during swimming sessions. Enforce

pool safety rules

and respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively. Collaborate with the Physical Education department on

swimming-related events

, such as swimming galas or inter-school competitions. Oversee and maintain the

pool area and equipment

to ensure cleanliness and safety. Keep up to date with current

best practices in swimming instruction and aquatic safety

.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field is

preferred

. Recognized teaching qualification or certification is

an advantage

.

Proven experience

in teaching swimming to school-aged children. Strong knowledge of

swimming techniques, water safety, and lesson planning

.

Lifeguard certification and first aid/CPR certification

are

required

. Excellent

communication and interpersonal skills

. Passion for working with children and the ability to motivate and engage them in learning. Female applicants only, in alignment with the specific needs of the student demographic.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM50.00 - RM70.00 per hour
