Job Description

Job Purpose



The Parts Assistant supports the Toyota Service Centre's parts department by managing inventory, processing parts orders, and ensuring accurate supply of genuine Toyota parts to the workshop and retail customers. This role is crucial in maintaining service efficiency, minimizing downtime, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities



Parts & Inventory Management



Assist in receiving, checking, and storing incoming parts and accessories. Ensure proper labelling, binning, and stock arrangement according to Toyota standards. Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist in stock replenishment. Conduct regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

Workshop & Customer Support



Issue parts to Service Advisors and Technicians as per job card requirements. Check parts availability and confirm with workshop/service team. Prepare parts for urgent repairs, recalls, or special orders. Assist retail customers at the parts counter with inquiries and sales.

Documentation & System Updates



Update stock movements in the Dealer Management System (DMS). Maintain records of goods received notes (GRN), delivery orders (DO), and invoices. Support warranty parts return process and follow up with suppliers. Prepare daily usage and stock movement reports.

Housekeeping & Compliance



Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the parts store. Ensure safety procedures are followed when handling heavy or hazardous parts. Comply with Toyota's quality and SOP requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements



Minimum at Diploma in Automotive, Logistics, or related field will be given priority. Prior experience in automotive spare parts operations is an advantage. Computer literate (MS Office, inventory systems). Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia. Physically fit and able to handle stock movement.

Key Competencies



Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Team player with good coordination between service and parts teams. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Customer service mindset.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
