We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented
Part-Time Bookkeeper
to support our finance operations. The ideal candidate must be familiar with
Malaysian accounting regulations
, able to handle monthly bookkeeping tasks, and experienced with online accounting tools. Prior experience with
Zoho Books
is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
monthly bookkeeping
, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Ensure compliance with
Malaysian accounting standards and regulatory requirements
.
Assist in the preparation and
submission of Withholding Tax (WHT)
.
Organise, upload, and maintain all
supporting documents
such as invoices, receipts, and payment proofs in an organised digital system.
Work closely with management to provide timely updates on financial entries and outstanding documents.
Prepare basic financial reports when required.
Requirements
Proven experience
in bookkeeping or accounting in Malaysia.
Strong understanding of
Malaysian tax compliance
, especially Withholding Tax.
Proficient in using
online bookkeeping tools
(Zoho Books experience is a strong plus).
High level of accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication skills (Mandarin, English and/or Malay).
Able to commit to
part-time, ongoing monthly work

Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling bookkeeping for e-commerce or SME companies.
Familiarity with digital filing systems and cloud-based accounting tools.
Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
