MEC Academy is an English language academy that welcomes international students and holiday travellers from across the globe. Our learners range from juniors to adults and even elderly students. We focus on creating an engaging, supportive environment where students can build confidence and improve their communication skills in English.

We are looking for passionate

Native English Speakers

to join our teaching team for a short-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers or travellers seeking meaningful work in Malaysia while engaging with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

Teach English lessons to students of various age groups (juniors, adults, elderly). Deliver lessons using provided study materials and resources. Create a positive, encouraging, and interactive classroom environment. Adapt teaching methods to meet students' different learning styles and proficiency levels. Participate in occasional academy activities and programs.

Requirements:

Native English speaker (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.). Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred, but not mandatory. Friendly, patient, and adaptable to multicultural environments. Able to commit to the full contract period (mid December 2025 - mid February 2026).

What We Offer:

Salary: RM 4,000 - RM 4,500/month. Accommodation provided. Study materials and teaching support provided. Opportunity to work with students from various countries and cultures. Warm, collaborative teaching environment in Malaysia.
