Job Overview - Part-Time Secondary Tutors (Onsite Priority)

We are looking for

Part-Time Tutors

to join our academic team at

Astra Academy, Kota Damansara

, with a strong focus on

onsite teaching

. You will teach higher secondary students (Year 7 - 11 ) in

Science, Mathematics, English, Geography, or History

, helping them improve their academic performance and confidence. While onsite classes are the main focus, occasional hybrid/online sessions may be required.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver

onsite lessons

in assigned subjects aligned with student needs. Adapt lesson plans and teaching methods to fit different learning styles. Encourage student participation and motivation. Assess students' progress regularly and provide feedback. Develop and apply effective teaching resources and digital tools.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Education or related subject. Strong fresh graduates may apply. Prior tutoring/teaching experience in Science, Mathematics, English, Geography, or History. Strong written and spoken English. Good social and communication skills. Passionate, reliable, and able to work independently. Flexible schedule for

onsite (priority) and occasional online

classes. Familiarity with online teaching platforms is an advantage.

Working Hours & Compensation

Onsite-first

at our Kota Damansara center, with some hybrid/online flexibility. Part-Time: weekday afternoons/evenings, weekends. Competitive hourly rate (commensurate with experience). Performance incentives available.
