Assist in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth prep and service flow.
Performs basic food preparation and cooking responsibilities as directed by the Chef accordingly to the outlet's food preparation standard and procedures.
Supervise and actively participate in food preparation, plating, and presentation.
Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner during brunch rush and other peak hours.
Ensure efficient prep systems to reduce waste and support smooth transitions between services.
To assist the Chef on duty with food pick-up, delivery and storage.
To assist and monitor food stocks and stock movement. To ensure stock is controlled, date and rotated to minimize kitchen wastage / spoilage.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
Uphold food safety and portion control
Contribute ideas and assist in new dish development
