Job Description

Regular property inspections:

Security patrol guards perform scheduled or randomized checks of properties to ensure all areas are safe and secure. They identify signs of vandalism, trespassing, or potential threats.

Patrolling designated areas:

They patrol assigned zones on foot to maintain visibility and deter crime, completing checklists as they go. There are also vehicle patrol security jobs with the specific task of patrolling larger perimeters using bicycles, cars, golf carts, or motorcycles.

Incident reporting:

Patrol guards document and report suspicious activities, hazards, or incidents. They submit detailed reports to supervisors and managers using good old pen and paper or software like Belfry.

Access control:

Although they are mobile units that patrol perimeters, patrol security officers also help to verify the identification and credentials of individuals entering restricted areas. They prevent unauthorized entry and log visitor or vehicle details.

Responding to alarms and emergencies:

Thanks to their mobility, security patrol officers can react promptly to security breaches, fire alarms, or other emergencies. They can also coordinate with emergency services and ensure public safety.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
