As the Payroll Associate, you will be primarily responsible for all aspects of delivering the end-to-end payroll processing activities, payroll legislative reporting and analysis for APAC countries, coordinating and working closely with key internal Business Partners and Payroll Outsource Provider.

You will work closely with Payroll Analysts and Supervisor ensuring that work is produced to an excellent standard, within the agreed timescales, accurate and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations and deliver world-class customer service.

Let\xe2\x80\x99s Talk About The Role:

Perform data entry pertaining to all aspects of employee data and work with third-party vendors on payroll adjustment entries and payroll reporting.

  • Countries coverage: APAC including (but not limited to) Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Korea, Japan etc.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely end-to-end payroll (from data input checking to GL file) processes for all countries.
  • Ensure the operational aspects of payroll processing and associated activities, including salary disbursement, overpayment recovery, leave management and reporting are accurate and delivered within appropriate timeframes and comply with relevant legislation, Awards and salary administration policies
  • Liaise with both internal and external customers answering queries, reporting etc; including the outsourcing company on payroll related queries, and ensure smooth payroll processing.
  • Provide a responsive, accurate client advisory service on payroll matters, resolve difficult enquiries and assist in identifying payroll errors and implementing corrective action where required to ensure employee payments are processed accurately and database integrity is maintained.
  • Administration, calculation, reconciliation and payment process (ie: EPF, CPF, tax etc).
  • Prepare complex payroll and human resource information for data input and assist with checking, quality control and maintenance of records to ensure ac
  • Assist the organisation to meet its taxation, superannuation and other legislative and statutory obligations through processing and preparation of returns
  • Checking and auditing of all payroll, ensuring legislative compliance i.e. tax compliance, SOX compliance, superannuation and other requirements from time to time
Let\xe2\x80\x99s Talk About You:
  • Diploma/Degree qualification or equivalent.
  • At least 2years of related working experience in end to end delivery of payroll and related processes, preferable for countries such as Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and China.
  • Understanding of awards, legislation and statutory obligations of various countries in APAC.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team environment and shared services environment.
  • Strong negotiating/influencing skills. Ability to interact with and serve internal and external customers and operations personnel.
  • Experience working with ADP and Kronos (or similar Time & Attendance system) will be advantageous. Workday or similar HRIS system will be highly regarded.
  • Experience and involvement in Payroll project and transition of services, will be an advantage.
