The Payroll Executive is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll across all company entities. This role ensures compliance with statutory requirements, internal HR policies, and payroll-related regulations while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of employee compensation data.
Job Responsibilties:
Prepare and process monthly payroll for all employees, including allowances, deductions, overtime, bonuses, and incentives.
Verify attendance records, overtime, and leave data before payroll submission.
Reconcile salary reports and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Ensure timely submission and payment of EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRD levy, and other statutory contributions.
Prepare and submit statutory forms (e.g., Form E, EA, CP39) within the required deadlines.
Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records and employee compensation data.
Ensure all payroll practices comply with the Employment Act 1955 and relevant Malaysian labor laws.
Support audits and provide necessary payroll-related documentation.
Liaise with HR and Finance teams on employee movements (new hires, resignations, transfers, increments).
Provide payroll reports and analyses for management review and budgeting purposes.
Maintain and update payroll system data and ensure accuracy of employee information.
Support system migration, automation, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Ensure that all administrative and operational tasks comply with internal SOPs and statutory regulations.
Any other functions as required / instructed by the immediate superior and top management.
Job Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Minimum 2-4 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-entity or manufacturing environment.
Well versed with Malaysian statutory compliance (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRD).
Good understanding of the Employment Act and payroll procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HR/payroll systems.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
