accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing
for multiple clients within Malaysia. The position requires strong statutory knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to communicate with clients professionally.
Responsibilities:
Process monthly payroll for assigned client portfolios with accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure payroll complies with Malaysian statutory regulations and company/client SOPs.
Prepare & submit EPF, SOCSO/EIS, PCB, HRDF, and other statutory filings.
Validate payroll data: attendance, claims, OT, allowances, deductions.
Generate payroll summaries, variance reports, and management reports.
Manage and resolve payroll inquiries from clients professionally.
Support payroll audits, internal checks, and process improvement projects.
Provide guidance and knowledge-sharing to junior team members.
Handle ad hoc HR/payroll tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
Minimum: 1 year payroll experience (Malaysia payroll).
Preferred: 2-3 years, ideally from HR outsourcing, shared services, or multi-client payroll environment.
Hands-on experience with Malaysian payroll systems (any vendor).
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
Understanding of monthly & annual statutory submissions.
Statutory Knowledge: EPF, SOCSO / EIS, PCB (Monthly Tax Deduction), HRDF, Overtime rules, leave deductions, allowances, Payroll cut-off, data validation, reconciliations
Mandarin (to service Mandarin-speaking clients), English, Bahasa Malaysia
Able to support multiple clients and tight payroll timelines.
