Job Description

The Payroll Specialist will oversee and manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance within the Business Services industry. This role is based in KL and requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in payroll systems and regulations.
Responsible for accurate and timely processing of staff and contractor payroll for Asia region:

• Working closely with HR in processing of new starters, leavers and amendments.

• Collation and inputting of timesheets on contractor payroll.

• Calculation, reconciliation and submission of taxes and other statutory deductions.

• Process accurate payments to employees by electronic transfer, including ad hoc payment after normal pay run.

• Maintain employee bank details in online banking system.

• Handle and respond to discrepancies and queries relating to payroll.

• Year-end processing.

• Manage and administer outsourcing Payroll vendor to ensure high level of accuracy and timely processing of payroll.

• Processing of statutory claims, tax clearance and statutory surveys.

• Reconcile monthly payroll schedules and prepare variance report.

• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
