As the PCMO (Passenger Car Motor Oil) Marketing Manager, you will embark on Shell Lubricants Marketing team, one of Malaysia and Singapore\'s leading lubricants brand with a history of over 127 years. based in Menara Shell. What\'s the role?

  • Accountable to design & implement clear Shell Helix brand strategy and vision, aligned to global platform, for both short-term and long-term sustainable profit growth.
  • Responsible to drive all new PCMO adjacent products range including Car Care and other PCMO Engine care products.
  • Accountable to deliver brand profitability C3+ & Volume targets for Shell PCMO in MY/SG.
  • To achieve market leadership within Lubricants PCMO category through acquiring in-depth consumer insights and category leadership.
  • Responsible to drive brand health growth (awareness, preference, trial, market share/usage, loyalty) for PCMO in MY/SG.
  • Responsible to conduct and analyze internal & external brand data and market study to capture marketing opportunities, trends & ideas for annual brand planning.
  • To develop accelerated premiumization strategy and plans to achieve higher premium growth rate vs. total brand & market growth rate.
  • Accountable to build a competitive brand product portfolio & effectively manage new product pipeline across all brand segments.
  • Delight consumers with unique, insight-based propositions across a comprehensive marketing calendar.
  • Lead team and agencies on brand & media planning, upskilling & coaching social media team.
  • Responsible to drive and align brand plan execution and management through multi trade/channel strategy, including General Trade, Direct, Retail channel and Digital Channels.
  • Accountable for overall SP&A (sales promotion & advertising) planning, lead annual BMP process to ensure effective ROI management while optimizing brand campaign, promotion, media, PR, digital, events and channel metrics.
  • Ensure T&R (targets & resources), sales pipelines and 3-year development cycles are linked and well-integrated.
  • Manage PLM process and requirements including SKU portfolio health metrics, product lifecycle, C3/Finished Product Stock, inventory working capital as well as product pricing & Unit C3 for all SKUs.
  • Focal point for global brand communication, leveraging global marketing assets, integrating local insights, delivering a well-integrated and aligned campaign for maximum impact.
  • Manage brand and sales results tracking regularly, supporting sales teams in brand execution in-market, shared learning and to value sell through marketing activities and brand strength.
  • Primary Brand Ambassador, representing the brand and Shell in all official functions.
What we need from you?
  • 8-10 years in high-performing, customer-focused environment, especially in managing consumer brands.
  • 3-5 years in Asst. Manager/Manager capacity, experienced in leading a team towards attainment of team & company goals.
  • Lubricants & FMCG marketing experience is preferred, including evidence of mid/long-term brand equity development. Lubricants knowledge is helpful but not required.
  • Evidence of strong commercial acumen, especially in marketing and sales / trade marketing roles managing consumer products with a track record for over-delivery on targets.
  • Experienced in developing brand/sector strategy and managing longer-term innovation/development cycle.
  • In-depth understanding of how integrated trade/channel/customer marketing works is a mandatory.
  • E2E brand & product management and experience in delivering impact and efficiency across marketing mix elements is required, including Campaign, Media, Digital, PR, promotion.
  • Acute in P&L management and capturing value through product & pricing strategies.
  • Competent in mining consumer/customer insights using advanced analytics to develop desired and impactful brand campaigns.
  • Successful integration for collaborative development and implementation with global brands & local sales/operations.
  • Solution development, creative problem-solving ability with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be highly self-motivated and able to effectively manage self/time amongst many competing priorities.
