To Start in Aug 2024, we are excited to welcome an enthusiastic and experienced Physical Education Teacher to join our dynamic international school community in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a Physical Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among our diverse student body. The ideal candidate will have a passion for physical fitness, a commitment to fostering sportsmanship, and a creative approach to delivering engaging PE lessons.

Responsibilities: * Curriculum Development:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum that aligns with international standards and caters to students of various ages and abilities.
• Integrate a variety of sports, fitness activities, and wellness components into the curriculum to promote holistic physical development.
• Instruction and Skill Development:

• Deliver dynamic and inclusive PE lessons that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Provide differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Incorporate innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience.
• Assessment and Progress Monitoring:

• Develop and implement fair and effective assessment strategies to evaluate students\' physical abilities and progress.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and collaborate with parents to support individualized development plans.
• Organize and oversee sports events, intramural activities, and inter-school competitions.
• Health and Wellness Promotion:

• Educate students on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including proper nutrition and mental well-being.
• Organize health and fitness initiatives, workshops, and awareness campaigns for the school community.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate health and wellness concepts into the overall school culture.
• Extracurricular Engagement:

• Coordinate and lead extracurricular sports clubs, ensuring a variety of options to cater to diverse student interests.
• Organize and accompany students to local and international sports tournaments and events.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment that encourages student participation in physical activities beyond the classroom.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Physical Education or a related field.
• Teaching certification with a specialization in Physical Education.
• Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience at the primary and/or secondary level.
• Knowledge of international curricula and educational best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
