Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pega Application Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pega application support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. As an integral part of our support team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the stability and performance of our Pega applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2 support for Pega applications, responding promptly to incidents, service requests, and user issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Pega applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and functionality, contributing to the resolution of problems and providing insights for improvements.
  • Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents, documenting findings and proposing preventive measures.
  • Provide bug fixes for production defects.
  • Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential bottlenecks or areas of improvement.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of support services and to address user concerns effectively.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support coverage if required.
  • Stay updated with the latest Pega technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously enhance your technical expertise.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience minimum 5 years in Pega application support .
  • Strong knowledge of Pega platform, including PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander), case management, workflows, and UI/UX components.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues related to Pega applications.
  • Experience with Pega Guardrails and Pega guardrail compliance.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pega certification(s) (e.g., CSA, CSSA) is a plus.
  • ITIL certification is a plus.
