Job Description

Job Purpose:



The Fund Manager (Waqf, Hibah & Infaq) is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding sustainable fundraising programs and trust-based financial instruments under Yayasan Ar Riduwan. This includes overseeing the collection, allocation, and governance of all waqf, hibah, and infaq funds in accordance with Shariah principles and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:1. Fundraising & Financial Growth



Plan, coordinate, and implement strategic fundraising campaigns for Waqf, Hibah, and Infaq programs. Identify and develop new funding sources including corporate donors, individuals, institutions, and online platforms. Collaborate with marketing teams to design creative campaigns, promotional materials, and donation drives. Achieve monthly and annual fundraising targets as approved by management.

2. Fund Management & Compliance



Ensure all funds are collected, recorded, and distributed in accordance with Yayasan Ar Riduwan's financial SOPs and Shariah compliance. Maintain accurate records of donors, fund allocations, and disbursements. Prepare financial performance reports for board review and audit purposes. Liaise with auditors, trustees, and relevant authorities (e.g., LHDN, Baitulmal, and Bank Negara) to ensure compliance with all legal and financial regulations.

3. Strategic Development



Propose innovative waqf models and investment opportunities aligned with the foundation's objectives. Evaluate and monitor ongoing projects funded by Waqf, Hibah, and Infaq to ensure impact and transparency. Build and sustain partnerships with government agencies, Islamic financial institutions, and corporate CSR units.

4. Leadership & Coordination



Supervise and train a team of fund officers, consultants, and volunteers. Develop annual work plans, budgets, and timelines for the fund management department. Coordinate with the Finance and Marketing units to ensure synchronization between fundraising, accounting, and project execution.

5. Reporting & Communication



Submit regular reports to the CEO and Board of Trustees on fundraising performance, donor engagement, and fund utilization. Maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality in handling donor information. Represent the foundation at official meetings, community programs, and media interviews related to Waqf, Hibah, and Infaq activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Islamic Banking, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, Islamic finance, or NGO management. Strong understanding of Islamic financial instruments, especially Waqf, Hibah, and Infaq. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proven leadership and team management abilities. Proficient in MS Office and digital fundraising platforms. High integrity, strategic thinking, and results-driven mindset.

Employment Type:



Full-time / Contract (Renewable based on performance)

Salary Range:



Negotiable (Based on qualifications and experience)

Pay: RM1,453.33 - RM8,288.87 per month
