Job Requirement

People and Culture Manager is a department head level position in the People and Culture division, who collectively makes key operational management decisions in the division. The People and Culture Manager helps to manage several aspects of People and Culture (Human Resources) such as; employee relations, employee engagement, working knowledge of Human Resources Management systems for payroll and employee data, recruiting, benefits, supervising, employee housing, disciplining, training. We are looking for an individual who creates strong connections with employees and creates a comfortable work environment for them to excel.

Knowledge and Skills:

We are looking for individuals who have 2-3 years of managerial working experience in People and Culture department. Working knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act and experience of working in an unionized company is advantageous.

s Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze and initiate appropriate actions to resolve any unsatisfactory pattern of employee turnover.
  • Manage the financial issues for the People and Culture budget including benefits, labor & salary reports and plan cost effective events within the People and Culture budget guidelines.
  • Maintain employment files and other records personally and through delegation in a detailed manner on paper and in the People and Culture computer system .
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors while maintaining the confidentiality of People and Culture.
  • To follow the management direction and execute any other assigned job tasks and responsibilities which are necessary for the department and resort operation.
