Job Description

You will be responsible for delivering end-to-end HR services to employees, supporting HR systems and programs, and driving process improvements to ensure high-quality service delivery and an exceptional employee experience. In this role, you will support Business-As-Usual HR operations and time to time projects aimed at continuously improving HR services within the SSC, with a strong focus on implementing lean and scalable processes.
On-Boarding

  • Prepares employment contracts and ensures new hire documentation is completed and processed
  • Maintains and updates employee data records in HRIS accurately and timely related to hiring, transferring, promoting and terminating
  • Maintains employee records in HR E-filing in accordance with company's policies and legislative requirements.
  • Collate/enter new starter documentation onto HRIS and track staff movements when requiredPolicies and Reporting
  • Work with our HR Data & reporting team in providing HR reports as and when required by business
  • Conduct annual review of the Employee handbook and updates HR policies and procedures as and when required
  • Interpretation and application of company policies
  • Prepares the monthly headcount report
  • Conducts the annual salary review exercise
  • Conducts and supports in annual medical benefits review with our insurance broker
  • Stays up to date with changes in labour legislation
  • Act as the subject matter expert, partner with our business and provide advice to employee's inquiries with regards to HR policies and processes.Vendor Management
  • Acts as a liaison between employees and our global mobility vendor to resolve issues, enquiries or concerns
  • Initiate requests on shipment, tax and immigration services via the vendors' online portal
  • Interface with vendors/employees to gather any documents required for visa application and liaises with company migration lawyers where required.
  • Work closely with vendors, employee, finance and payroll to gather all the documents required for tax processing/filing
  • Act as the point of contact for international transfers in accordance with the global mobility policiesGeneral HR
  • Coordinates and provides payroll inputs to the payroll team for monthly payroll processing by specified payroll-cut off dates
  • Manage employee offboarding process including terminations, and resignations.
  • Manage employee promotions process, to ensure all paperwork is completed and processed
  • Enters, updates and reviews information in the HRIS when required
  • Assists when required with accurate and timely filing of employee documentation
  • Responsible for managing the HR requests in the Internal HR inbox. Allocates, Actions or escalates requests where appropriate.
  • Supports and contributes to overall HR process improvement initiatives and Global/Regional HR projects as and when required.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is a must and any other APAC region languages are asset.
  • Qualifications in Human Resources Management or a related field are ideal.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of demonstrated knowledge and experience in HR operations and processes.
  • Experience in dealing with a multicultural workforce and/or working in an Asia Pacific regional team and/or HR operations experience from shared service centres would be advantageous.
  • Ability to deliver timely solutions and develop strong relationships with different levels of staff and senior management across the organisation.
  • Strong Understanding of employment legislation
  • Proactive and constantly looking for ways to improve process and procedures
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office and sound knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong team player skills and the ability to work with different stakeholders
  • Possess a sense of urgency and strong follow up skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage several priorities simultaneously and delegate duties where appropriate.
  • Ability to carry out duties autonomously when required with limited supervision
