The role

People are at the heart of everything we do. With our rapid expansion, it is becoming more important than ever that we do it right! As our People & Culture Executive, you will play an integral role in the building of our Love, Bonito Malaysia team and family. Reporting into our Senior People & Culture Executive, you will work alongside her in creating a passionate and high performing team, in a culture of openness, learning, operational excellence, collaboration, honesty and innovation.

  • Extremely meticulous to a fault! You will be looking after payroll, hence accuracy and experience is key
Main responsibilities (including but not limited to)

People Operations
  • Responsible for overseeing payroll processing, calculation of wages, benefits, statutory deductions, commissions, and overtime for full-time and part-time employees, ensuring accurate records of payroll documentation
  • Responsible for all People-related operations matters including but not limited to implementation and management of HRIS tools, Compensation & Benefits, orientation programs, training programs, IT user requisition for email accounts and IT equipment etc
  • Responsible for People-related administrative record keeping such as attendance/ leave/medical leave records, insurance/ medical schemes, and employee personnel records, ensuring all information is kept up to date on a timely basis
  • Process official letters and documents for all employees
  • Assist with performance appraisal documentation preparation
  • Assist with all employees' claims and insurance matters
  • HR Partnerships: Seeking out on brand and like-minded partners to curate a list of relevant perks and benefits for LB employees
  • Oversee general compliance pertaining to all People matters i.e., employment legislation, benefits, wage subsidies, termination etc
Talent Acquisition
  • Own the full recruitment cycle for LBMY, i.e., responsible for screening, interview arrangement, preparing offer letters, internship programme and onboarding arrangements for all new hires
  • Manage our employer branding by working with HQ P&C, as well as relevant internal teams to ensure LB remains top-of-mind as an employer of choice when one thinks female consumer retail in Malaysia
  • Spearhead recruitment efforts across all levels from senior hires to campus and intern recruitment
  • Conduct screening of candidates based on job criteria and required competencies to create a pipeline of high calibre talent profiles for hiring managers
  • Maintain and constantly ensure a robust recruitment process that is relevant and supports internal teams, while also ensuring that all prospective candidates get the most positive candidate experience no matter the outcome
  • Leverage recruiting tools to get the job done better and more efficiently
  • Be innovative with the use of social media and other communication platforms in line with hiring trends to get the best candidates in the quickest way possible
  • Track and analyse recruitment data such as candidate experience, hiring sources, turnaround time, costs, and trends with the use of our applicant tracking system
People Experience
  • Manage the lease with our identified co-working space, and liaising with building management to ensure safety and compliance to Malaysia government regulations
  • Initiating, planning, and executing company events or activities regularly for office and retail stores for employee engagements or teambuilding efforts and other Talent Management initiatives
  • Employee Wellness: Spearhead all initiatives from office improvements, office supplies, stationery and refreshment etc., to constantly improve and upgrade the quality of life for all LB employees
  • Office Management: Chief liaison for all office-related matters, decor, pantry etc
  • To carry out other ad-hoc duties or work as and when required
Requirements:
  • Min a bachelor's Degree in Admin, Business Management, Human Resources Management, Psychology, Sociology or equivalent
  • Min 1-2 years of relevant HR experience with a good hand on experience of HR operations
  • Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Possess good coordination, communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, integrity, self-motivated with high degree of commitment and time pressure to meet deadlines and objectives
  • Good understanding of Human Resource and relevant employee government legislation as applicable to the workplace and ability to act in accordance with HR policy guidelines, duty of care responsibilities and other legal workplace policies
  • Able to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice (if possible)
