Job Description


My client is looking to strengthen their organization by adding the best people. They seek a talent acquisition specialist to help source, identify, screen, and hire candidates for various roles in the company. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, two or three years of experience, proficiency with applicant tracking systems, and an ability to devise sourcing strategies for potential applicants.

1) Digital Content Management and Creation
- Developing our own collection of local images and pictures for branding purposes
- Producing local recruitment videos
- Crafting local content in various formats, including images and videos
- Designing posters, pamphlets, and banners
- Installing hoarding boards for store openings

2) External Branding Initiatives
- Establishing pop-up recruitment booths at stores and high-traffic locations
- Strengthening employer branding through collaborations with existing companies and conducting surveys
- Exploring alternative branding solutions

3) Platform Management Responsibilities
- Overseeing our LinkedIn account
- Generating utilization reports for LinkedIn Recruiter and addressing escalated sourcing requests
- Managing weekly postings on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
- Administering our job portals, such as Jobstreet, Myfuture Jobs, and our internal career page/ATS
- Identifying new job portals and recruitment tools
- Crafting sourcing strategies, exploring innovative internet and social media sourcing techniques, and enhancing our brand presence in the online recruiting marketplace

4) Policy and Process Enhancement
- Reviewing and updating the recruitment policy
- Effectively communicating policy changes to all team members
- Handling employee inquiries and improving communication with employees
- Assisting in the development, deployment, and management of a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract and retain talent
- Supporting the team in building and managing talent pipelines and databases for current and future business needs
- Assisting the team lead in understanding their talent requirements and proposing suitable solutions
- Collaborating on the design, deployment, and management of HR reports to monitor employee movements and HR activities

5) Management and Maintenance of Recruitment Systems
- Oversight of the applicant tracking system
- Creating and reporting on quarterly and annual hiring plans
- Managing the company\'s Career Site
- Developing a live recruitment need tool
- Tracking hiring metrics, including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire

6) Conducting a Market Study for Recruitment

7) People Engagement and Communications
- Co-managing HR communications on various HR topics internally, including newsletters, social media, and other platforms
- Undertaking ad hoc responsibilities as directed by the HR Leader

- Possess a Bachelor\'s Degree in a related field
- Demonstrated recruitment and HR experience of at least 3-5 years
- Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Melayu languages
- Strong computer skills with a high level of competence in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Profound expertise in sourcing strategies
- A minimum of 2 years\' experience in client management, involving collaboration with diverse stakeholders
- Prior exposure to project management
- Familiarity with any Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is a plus
- Demonstrates the ability to maintain composure and think logically in challenging situations
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder management
- Data-driven approach, relying on robust data support for decision-making
- People-oriented, enjoys building relationships with both internal stakeholders like hiring managers and external parties, including recruitment firms
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong inclination to take initiative
- Quick learner with a continuous desire to enhance processes and boost efficiency
- Exhibits energy, adaptability, proactivity, and creativity
- Possesses a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and effective prioritization abilities
