People Systems Analyst

Lendlease is looking for a People Systems Analyst to join our People and Culture (P&C) team in Malaysia. The People Systems Analyst is a role designed to provide P&C systems operational support, triage and resolve system related support requests assigned to the team. You are also to review, design and implement fixes to system errors in line with regional business needs and globally agreed design frameworks. Provision of escalated system support to a broad range of stakeholders across all functional areas.

Your function includes but not limited to:

  • Ensuring the P&C systems are stable via monitoring of system incidents raised with the team, problem tickets, integration errors, etc.
  • Trouble-shooting any system errors reported by end users, triage and resolve any system configuration issues.
  • Address any urgent BAU system maintenance requests.
  • Monitor and reconcile data between P&C systems and other critical downstream functions and systems (such as Payroll).
  • Escalate any system issues with vendors when required, and coordinate with vendors (such as Workday) to ensure issues are resolved in time.
  • Provide data and system administration support for P&C systems.
  • Coordinate with system vendors (such as Workday) for any system maintenance and release/patching activities.
  • Test and deploy fixes via the change management process to address system related issues.
Your ability to manage multiple priorities whilst conducting yourself professionally will be key to your success. Additionally, the successful candidate will have:
  • A minimum tertiary education
  • At least 5-7 years experience in Workday configuration.
  • Your ability to learn quickly, work autonomously, as well as in a team environment, is key to this role.
  • Customer focused with an ability to manage and deliver multiple tasks on time.
  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources/IT or proven experience in a Workday configuration role
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of People & Culture processes and concepts
  • Strong written and verbal communication with an ability to present concepts & data
  • Proven problem solving skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a global team environment
  • Understanding of organisational interdependencies, interfaces and processes
  • Strong understanding of legislation and policies relevant to the role and all activities undertaken in that role (e.g. data privacy)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate, influence and partner effectively with key stakeholders
  • General understanding of APIs and integrations
  • General understanding of Workday Security/Data Governance
  • Strong planning, scheduling and organisation skills
