Job Summary:
Personal bankers are in charge of managing customer accounts by offering them various financial services such as loans, credit cards, insurance and investment products. They must build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide suitable solutions while ensuring they meet the required sales targets.
Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to walk-in enquiries, outbound calls or emails and provide accurate information to customers on all UOB products and services.
  • Provide financial advice to customers based on their financial objectives and risk appetite, and recommend appropriate UOB products and services.
  • Ensure customers have a positive experience throughout the application process. This includes providing updates on the status of applications and performing timely follow-up actions where necessary.
  • Manage customers' accounts by updating account records and performing account maintenance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customers' financial situation through cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and industry developments to better serve customers and identify new business opportunities.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives to enhance customer service standards and branch operations
Qualifications:
  • Degree holder in any field from a reputable university or college.
  • At least 1 year of working experience in a customer facing role within the banking industry.
  • Excellent command of English language. Fluency in Mandarin will be advantageous.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with CRM systems and digital banking platforms.
  • Sound knowledge of banking products and services including lending, deposits, investments and insurance.
  • Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
