Position Summary



The Personal Bodyguard to the Director is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and personal protection of the Director in both professional and private environments. This role requires the highest levels of discretion, professionalism, and vigilance. The incumbent will provide close protection services, manage security planning for daily activities and travel, and ensure that the Director can fulfill personal and professional obligations in a secure and uninterrupted manner.

Key Responsibilities



Provide close and continuous personal protection to the Director at all times. Conduct risk assessments and identify potential security threats in daily schedules, venues, and travel arrangements. Plan, coordinate, and secure safe travel routes and transportation. Escort the Director during professional, social, and personal engagements while maintaining a discreet presence. Monitor surroundings to detect and deter potential threats or suspicious activity. Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or medical situations. Coordinate security logistics with drivers, household staff, corporate security, and law enforcement agencies as necessary. Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of trust and discretion. Ensure readiness of security equipment, communication devices, and contingency plans. Adapt security strategies to align with the Director's dynamic lifestyle, including international travel and high-profile events.

Qualifications and Experience



Proven experience in executive protection, personal security, law enforcement, or military service. Certification as a Close Protection Officer (CPO) or equivalent (preferred). Expertise in defensive tactics, threat assessment, and protective driving. Physically fit with the ability to remain alert under pressure and in high-stress situations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively yet discreetly. Training in First Aid and CPR; advanced medical response certification desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Firearms license or authorization to carry security equipment (as applicable by jurisdiction).
