Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Drive the COO to and from office in a safe and timely manner
• Provide personal protection and keeping the COO and his family from physical threat and invasion of privacy.
• Must be punctual in attendance and strictly maintain timing schedules, and if required, need to be available on erratic hours, long shifts, holidays, weekends, long distance travel, etc.
• Safely operate the vehicle, driving it responsibly with good care and ensure passengers safety during transport
• Undertake full responsibility for the security and safety of passengers during transport.
• Conform to regulations and rules of conduct, heed the laws of the road, abide by all traffic rules and sound traffic practices, observe speed limit and all road signs and signal aids in the task of delivering the passengers safely to his destinations
• Perform daily safety checks and routine vehicle maintenance inspections for the purpose of ensuring safe operating condition and report mechanical defects to the Finance Officer immediately
• Ensure vehicle is in safe operating condition at all times and carry out simple vehicle maintenance duties such as filling up the vehicle with coolant and fuel, and take the vehicle in for an servicing and inspections
• Keep the vehicle clean at all times and maintain both interior and exterior for the purpose of appearance and sanitation of vehicle
• Maintain trip logs and reports, which are records of the destination, time and duration, the number of kilometres travelled and any receipts that are related to the trip
• Assisting with maintenance work as per assigned by the Manager when not driving the passengers.
• To maintain maintenance logbook for all University vehicles

• Candidate must be physically and mentally fit with no criminal record
• Familiar with the destinations in Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh and proficiency in using GPS devices
• Must be responsible, vigilant, trustworthy, punctual and possess good working attitude.
• Able to work overtime, weekends, public holidays and as and when required.
• Preferred non-smoker while driving the company\xe2\x80\x99s vehicle
